We do not transport containers on the rail however we can complete your interstate container movements.
A consolidated service is like a parcel company, collecting from multiple customers from multiple locations, bringing it back to a sorting location and completing deliveries to multiple locations.
Simply ensure we know this on booking, and we will make sure that final leg from the consolidated hub to delivery is completed with the correct vehicle.
This will depend on a lot of factors; the biggest factor is access for a large truck. If your delivery is going to a metro area, the advantage of using DSE Transport is we have access to all size vehicles, so if the area can only accommodate a small vehicle, we can pick it up from the consolidation yard and deliver it to you, this is a separate service.
For interstate and country movements, Yes. For metropolitan deliveries we do not currently offer this for casual pallets. However, we do have some contacts with special arrangements.
If the booking is 10 pallets or more, we would complete your job with a dedicated linehaul delivery, if collected in Sydney today it would be in Brisbane or Melbourne the following business day. Please note that while we aim to have your delivery at a set time for you, this is dictated by the driver, his fatigue and traffic. Full transit times are provided on booking.
If your booking is 1 – 9 pallets, this transit time does depend on the service you select, express is made priority and will be delivered the following business day ex Sydney to Melbourne or Brisbane, however express is 20% more expensive.
General service would have your pallet arriving 2 to 3 days ex Sydney to Brisbane and Melbourne.

Yes, all our offices also cater for your dedicated trucks into regional Australia. We also do have ability to move your pallet movements in regional areas in a consolidated service, please note consolidation service to these areas are using a trusted transport partner.
